Married with Marioara Ciocloda and had 2 children, Florin and Manuela
From 1942, settled in Mehadica, Caraș Severin County with his brother Gheorghe and his parents
Graduated Reșița Vocational school
He started singing on stage during his military career, and his debut as an artist took place in 1962 with the „Orchestra of Culture House of Reșița”/„Orchestra Casei de Cultură a Sindicatelor din Reșița”, led by Guțu Gore
Nicolae Perescu helps him to be known in the country through several tours and appearances at the national radio and television station
In the early 1970s, released the first disc titled ”M-am gîndit mamă să-ți cînt”
Over the years, has been part of many ensembles, including: „Cindrelul” din Sibiu, „Doina Banatului” din Caransebeș, being accompanied by the most known instrumentists
